Please note that these fees are for the whole meeting. There are no one or two day fees for trainees or consultants, except a one day fee for the Friday, further details below.

Medical Students and FY doctors (members only)

A one-day fee of £10 is available for Medical Students and FY doctors attending WEDNESDAY only.
Medical students and FY's wishing to attend any other days will need to pay the full member/non-member rate, listed above. If you are not a member you need to join the AAGBI to take advantage of this rate, or pay the non member rate.

FRCA Friday registration (members only)
A one-day fee of £105 for FRCA Friday is available.

SAS Doctors 1 day registration (members only)
A one-day fee of £105 is available for SAS Doctors attending FRIDAY only.

AAGBI members
If you are a member of the AAGBI you benefit from a reduced registration fee. To qualify for the member rate you must ensure that your membership subscription fees have been paid prior to registering for the meeting.

Workshop fees
Delegates have to pay both the workshop fee (if applicable) and the conference registration fee in order to attend a workshop. Please visit the workshop page for further information.


LTFT Resource/parent and baby facility
All new parents can bring their babies to the GAT conference!  We have arranged for a LTFT drop-in resource room whereby the lectures from the conference will be streamed so that you can catch up on the latest information whilst looking after your children within the comfort of an informal setting. 


Electronic badging
At this event your badge will contain a barcode, this will be scanned on entry so that the Association of Anaesthetists can report on the attendance for each day, the data is kept by the association and NOT divulged to any other parties at any time.

The exhibitors will have the opportunity to hire scanners for data capture, they will only have access to your email and hospital name. If you do not want the exhibitor to scan your badge you can decline their offer.


Certificate and receipt
Your attendance certificate and receipt will be available to download post conference from your log in, on the AAGBI website:

1.    Log in, using your membership / non member number and password
2.    In the blue, left hand menu, click ‘View my AAGBI CPD’
3.    Find ‘Meeting Name and Date’, click ‘Print Certificate / Receipt’

Note for those in Consultant positions who attend GAT ASM 2018: This meeting is CPD accredited. The GMC does not require you to be a member of a college or faculty CPD scheme, to undertake a specific number of hours of CPD each year or to acquire a particular number of CPD credits. However, the AAGBI recognises that there are those who wish to keep a tally of their CPD points. This meeting has been awarded 5 CPD points per day.


Cancellation policy
Cancellations received in writing before the 4 June 2018 will be subject to an administration charge of £25. Delegates cancelling after this date will be liable to pay the full meeting price unless the Association considers there to be exceptional circumstances that would warrant a refund.


On site registration
If you are unable to register for the conference in advance, you may register at the meeting. Please make your way to the registration desk at the Hilton Glasgow. Please note different fees apply for on the day bookings.
